Who are We?

A Back Story

We are born from the mind of the leaders of the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Initiatives (CISDI), the reputable and sole public health non-profit in Indonesia.

As we spent years shaping policy and changing the way Indonesia does health development, we found ourselves operating within an increasingly complex and constrained environment.

We felt the need for a new business model that moves from that of a donor-funded, toward a sustainable social enterprise. With a broader funding base, we can think more creatively and act more independently, while we still account for our actions openly.

We limit how much income that can be used to finance company operations. In this way, we strive to be cost-effective.

A larger fraction of surplus will go to our pool of investment funds. This enables us to invest in high-impact solutions facilitated by social innovators and collaborative thinkers.

She has since gained in-depth knowledge of health policy and program management and has an extensive body of research to her name ranging from health economics and financing to global health development.
